YIMBY QLD was created to facilitate discussion about, recognise and promote good development which enhances everyday life. Working in the development industry, we experience the impacts the ‘Not in My Backyard’ (NIMBY) attitude can have on good development, often hindering positive community and development outcomes.
Through advocacy and research, YIMBY QLD seeks to bring balance back to the development debate to inform, lead, and inspire both the community and the development industry, and encourage, deliver, and celebrate innovative, sustainable, well-placed development outcomes. We work with local and state governments to inspire and lead change.
