Queensland’s nationally-awarded planning, design and land strategy agency, Therefor Group, this month celebrates 12 months with a new name and brand and is using the opportunity to bring to life their mission statement – The Change Leaders.
Therefor Group has announced the formal appointment of highly respected industry leaders Natalie Rayment and Andrew Crawford as Joint Managing Directors, with Bruce Williams and Brad Jones continuing as Executive Directors. The firm has also appointed senior executive and governance specialist Amena Reza as Executive Lead.
Ms Rayment and Mr Crawford are long term shareholders and board members, and have supported founder Michael Wolter in the leadership, strategy and growth of the business over the last 20 years. Natalie and Andrew have been the Co-Chairs of the Board since Micheal’s retirement in 2022.
Therefor Group’s board, shareholders and wider team reflect the firm’s diverse advisory capability – from strategic land planning, surveying, urban and landscape design to ecology and bushfire management. The approach also reaffirms the group’s commitment to being advocates for positive, innovative and collaborative change, through strategic community engagement and initiatives such as YIMBY (Yes in My Back Yard) and YIFBY (Yes in Faith’s Back Yard).
With more than 50 years of industry experience between them, Ms Rayment and Mr Crawford bring a shared passion for innovative and liveable development, a steadfast advocacy for sustainable urban renewal projects, and a cutting-edge vision for change leadership, which will propel Therefor Group into its next era.
Ms Rayment said she was incredibly proud to continue to lead Therefor Group alongside Mr Crawford, particularly at such an exciting time for Queensland.
“This State is already experiencing enormous growth which will require thoughtful, sustainable and bold planning ideas from firms like Therefor Group,” she said.
“Andrew and I have seen first-hand how innovation and creativity in planning can create positive, lasting outcomes for our clients, our industry and our community – from our advocacy work for much needed residential zoning reform in Brisbane to the development of an ambitious and sustainable growth strategy for Cairns as it prepares for population growth.

Mr Crawford welcomed the opportunity to lead Therefor Group and be part of shaping Queensland’s future.
