Queensland-based multidisciplinary advisory firm, Therefor Group has further expanded its employee-owned model, appointing nine new shareholders as the consultancy looks to step into its next stage of growth.

The appointments bring the consultancy’s total number of shareholders to 20, with representation now extending across each of Therefor Group’s core service areas.

The expansion comes as the firm finalises it’s 2027-29 strategic plan, designed to support and guide the direction and growth of the business over the next three years.

Joint Managing Director Natalie Rayment said the expanded shareholder group reflected the firm’s commitment to employee ownership and long-term impact.

“As we transitioned towards Therefor Group, we started building upon the foundation for shareholder expansion through the establishment of an employee share plan that would support our future as an employee-owned company,” Ms Rayment said.

“We’re incredibly proud to welcome nine new shareholders to our existing shareholder group today.

“Their deep respect and understanding of the work we do, alongside their appetite to make positive and impactful change in the community, will be critical in contributing to the future direction, growth and impact of Therefor Group.”

Joint Managing Director Andrew Crawford said the broader shareholder group aligned with the firm’s renewed strategic direction.

“These appointments tie into our vision for the future of Therefor Group, one that is ambitious, change-leading, collaborative and representative of the breadth of capability across our organisation,” Mr Crawford said.

“Importantly, our core business areas are now fully represented in the make-up of our shareholder group, which is a critical step given the role shareholders play in contributing to the evolution and growth of the business.”

In addition to the new appointments, Therefor Group has also increased the shareholding of five existing shareholders, broadening its employee ownership base and further supporting the firm’s growth.
