In March we hosted our 2026 International Women’s Day celebration – and the energy is still buzzing through the office. The conversations, the connections, the emotion, the purpose… it all left a mark on us.

This year, we welcomed 80 guests and staff into our Newstead head office for our annual ThereforHER celebration. Whether you were in the room or cheering us on from afar, thank you for being part of this community – you’re what makes this event such a highlight every year.

This year’s gathering brought together our network in a shared spirit of inclusion, generosity, and action. One of the biggest highlights? The incredible support for our 2026 charity partner, Share the Dignity, and their March Dignity Drive.

Thanks to everyone who donated on the day, we completely filled our donation box -and we’re still going! Your generosity is already making a tangible difference for women and girls experiencing period poverty.

A Powerful Voice in the Room

We were honoured to be joined by Rochelle Courtenay, founder of Share the Dignity – and what a powerhouse she is. Rochelle didn’t just speak (and with no notes); she woke us up. She shared the confronting realities of period poverty, and the camaraderie that sparked a national movement.

“I just don’t believe that a woman wouldn’t give a pad or a tampon to a woman on the street or a stranger in the bathroom.”

Share the Dignity has now distributed more than four million packets of period products across Australia – a powerful reminder that our voices and our actions matter.

A big shoutout to Meg Luton, our brilliant MC, and Stephanie Kline for tag‑teaming the hosting duties and keeping the energy high. You helped make this event flow seamlessly.

Taking Action Beyond the Event

International Women’s Day doesn’t end on March 8. This year, we kept the momentum going by joining the Mater Chicks in Pink International Women’s Day Fun Run — running, walking, and sweating our way across Brisbane in a sea of pink to support women with breast cancer.

It was fun, it was meaningful, and it was another reminder of the power of community when we move with purpose.

The Year Ahead

As we look forward, we’re excited to keep strengthening our ThereforHER network — sparking conversations that matter, backing initiatives that drive real change, and continuing to uplift the women in our community and beyond.

International Women’s Day might be one day — but championing women is our everyday commitment.

If you’ve got an idea, a partnership, or a project you’d love to collaborate on, we’d love to hear from you.
