Summerlin Banyo is a landmark urban renewal project in Brisbane’s north, transforming a former industrial site into a vibrant, award-winning residential community.

Located within walking distance of Nudgee Train Station, the estate delivers a thoughtfully designed mix of 197 townhouses, terrace homes, and apartments – embracing subtropical living, housing diversity, and community connection.
Since 2017, Therefor Group has partnered with Dennis Family Corporation to support the master planning and staged delivery of Summerlin. Our multidisciplinary team has played a pivotal role across planning, design, surveying, project delivery, and titling – ensuring seamless execution and enduring value through each phase.
Delivered over seven stages, Summerlin continues to evolve as a leading example of infill development in Southeast Queensland. The estate’s central communal open space sets a new benchmark for master planned communities, championing design excellence and liveability.
Sustainability was a key driver, with the conversion of underutilised industrial land into a high-quality residential neighbourhood that reflects both client vision and community aspirations.
Our collaborative approach enabled innovative solutions to complex site challenges, including planning constraints, titling intricacies, and constructed outcomes. The result is a well-connected, inclusive community that offers a ‘missing middle’ housing mix in a predominantly detached housing suburb.
